Almost anyone who sold property, including inheritance, in recent times has got notice from the Indian tax man, but apparently the specially blessed and connected dont get notices despite investing in slew of properties. Sobering #PMCBankScam #DoubleEngine

@just1doctorwala @Beiz to add to the mix most of the co-operatives have been in scams and they have been turned into businesses. Some examples are Amul or Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation Ltd. , Mother Diary and others. As far as scams are concerned Sharda Chit fund scam or the most recent #PMCBankScam comes to mind. In essence we need to overhaul the laws and have more consumer protection. We seem to be going in reverse :(

Rajneet, a director of the scam-hit Bank, had illegally sanctioned loans worth Rs 4,355-crore to the HDIL group.

7 depositors have died till date due to loss of their life savings.

@Prashanthbn hence RBI has lot more to answer because even if we say that what Dr. Rajan did was wrong as I assume you mean, what were the people after him doing, why were they covering those people up ? Is it because all of them are from BJP or what ? It should be called #PMCBankScam as was in birdsite. 4/n
