At the Philly airport reminiscing with fans on way home to SF

There was a series of several #tornados near me last night, across the front of a long line of storms. (We're all fine.) One #weather spotter caught this photo in nearby #Oswego #Illinois (about an hour's drive from #Chicago ).

Tornados were also seen at BOTH of Chicago's major airports (O'Hare & Midway) around the same time. (It's very rare to see one near an airport, let alone both at once.) People at the airports were escorted to the lowest levels, away from windows.

At this time, there is only one confirmed casualty: a woman in Indiana whose house was hit by a large falling tree. Thankfully, other than that, the tornados seem to have only caused some downed power lines, missing roof shingles, and fallen trees.

They could've been so much worse without the warning systems in place. The weather people did a great job or forewarning folks to stay off the roads that night.
