For some reason today I’m reminded of the story about the man running a bagel business… he would supply freshly baked bagels to office workplaces every morning with a payment jar on the honour system, then do a second run in the afternoon to pick up his money and the leftovers. Even though there was no surveillance or accountability, the honour system worked great for him everywhere but on the executive floors where he *always* came up quite short.

I feel strongly that store closures would harm mostly innocent people who do not engage in theft. These communities need investment not abandonment. There are people that can’t make enough with an honest living; this, I believe is the heart of the issue. #Walmart #Target #Thefts #OrganizedTheft
