Caught up on an #OpenMainframe Project podcast from June today with an interview with Zareen Rydhan, a test engineer with Rocket Software. It was really nice to hear her perspective as a more generalist engineer from Silicon Valley.

Her shock when encountering use of a 3270 terminal in production (very common!) is what I hear ALL THE TIME from the rest of the tech industry.

I think it's easy to forget how unusual it is, living here in #mainframe land.
