Very much agree. The initial enthusiasm about the new environment may have made some of us (myself included) become over-excited about maintaining the purity of Mastodon customs, but there's a reason why Mastodon works better than other networks and we are right in reflecting on which aspects of Mastodon culture make this place a good place. We want to keep Mastodon (and the wider Fedi) safe places of free conversation.
