I make the distinction as I'm encouraging people to separate their love of this HomeLand from identifying with specific branded systems.

I don't believe specific *governments* have a right to exist.

In my mind I'm doing my part to dismantle/replace a set of institutions called "Canada".

I don't believe I can identify with settler-colonial systems and dismantle them at the same time.

I Am Canadian, but not a loyal, patriotic or proud Canadian.

Karl and Sean discussing the cop-out of some Land Acknowledgements with "the natives don't agree".

It's sad that loyalists to #CANZUS (#Canada #Australia #NewZealand #USA ), #Britain , #France, #Spain , #Portugal all think of themselves as different from each other with their similiar worldviews, and yet want there to be some Pan-Indigenous perspective.

There is as much (if not more) diversity across this Northern continent that some call #NorthAmerica as across #Europe .
