Avec une histoire très classique de citadin qui se retrouve dans un village rural, Once upon a small town réussit une bonne maitrise d'un scénario éculé. Le décor est charmant. Choo Young- Woo est troublant. Et Joy confirme avec ce personnage tout en spontanéité la bonne impression que j'avais eu d'elle dans The One and Only.
Si il ne parvient pas aussi bien à rendre l'aspect communautaire que d'autres dramas du genre, il compense par le charme impeccable de sa romance.

I had no idea this was so short when I started it. It's a darling, sweet, tropey drama with a love triangle set in the countryside.
The MLs were only 22 when this was filmed, but they carry off the older characters well. There was good chemistry & the FL did a fantastic job of being sweet without being cringe. Even in this short drama, she had good character growth. The child actors are so cute. I've seen the boy in many series, but the girl was unfamiliar & I thought she was fabulous. She'll be one to watch.
This one could become a comfort watch for me - there are even puppies & a bunny!

I just finished #kdrama #OnceUponASmallTown which was completely light hearted & fun & nice countryside.
And I learnt about balsam nail dying. Which made me think: can you go anything with Himalayan balsam? And you can. Which might add a new twist to park volunteering...

I think the #kdrama #OnceUponASmallTown is charming and doesn't go too deep or get too drama-y.
I think the #cdrama #IHearYou was pretty good, too. The male lead is stand-off-ish like Lee Dong-Wook's character in #TouchYourHeart with the female lead being almost cartoonish.
It's been a while since I watched it, so I don't remember if there is major dead-family type stuff in this, but the story was really good and I enjoyed the characters a lot: the kdrama #WasItLove? It is definitely a "who is the father" rom-com.
The kdrama #LiveUpToYourName is fun and time-traveling and compares modern medicine to traditional medicine and has some hot kisses.
