Dave ThackerFriday and Saturday were moving days for the #Omahamakergroup. I took day on Friday to start packing up the safety equipment, the power tools and hand tool bench. This is picture of my progress and the first coffee break.
A bittersweet night tonight as the #omahamakergroup closed for the final time . We've had a good run. Built things, won PWRS races, blew up things and made life long friends. On Saturday we merge into #madenewmakerspace which give the #Omaha #Maker community a better facility and expanded programs. Onwards and upwards. Keep Making!
My small #maker and #RepairReuseRecycle monent last week. I was able to replace a power board and an older (non-smart) Samsung TV and avoid junking it. Pictures of the me dissaembling the TV, I picture of the swelling capacitors, and the moment of triumph when I replaced the board.

#omahamakergroup open studio is tomorrow starting about 5:30 PM CDT. I'll be working on the mysterious bird sculpture and it will be round 3 on me vs the broken 3D printer. Stop by and say hello, we'll give you a tour!
Will I think I've got the 3d OPrinter head assembly back in tune. Time for a test print.
30 screws later, I have the TV apart and sourced a power supply. The board is probably not in the budget until August.
Looks like tomorrow at the #omahamakergroup I'll be diagnosing yet another TV, stripping more paint off the bird sculpture. Open Studio time starts about 5:30.
