Hurricane Ridge Road will open at 9:30 AM. Chains are required on 2-wheel-drive vehicles. Chain up area is at Heart O' Hills entrance. Ski operations closed. Park sledding area open. No concessions. Road will close to uphill traffic a 4:00PM. All vehicles must be below the gate by 5:00 PM.

Hoh Rain Forest Area Expected to Reopen 8/16

The Hoh Rain Forest area is expected to reopen on 8/16. The region received heavy rain on Friday and Saturday, which flooded a construction site on Upper Hoh Road. Upper Hoh Road connects Hwy 101 to the park boundary and is maintained by Jefferson County.
