This winter & spring has put an end to the riughly 10 years of a dry basement we had since having work done to achieve that goal.
Sigh.

Dear previous self,
If deep, 4", square boxes would've fit just fine - WHY DID YOU USE SHALLOW 3" OCTAGON ONES!?!?!!?!!
I replaced an easily accessible section with PVC when we moved in (it looked bad, & our basement is fieldstone, not cement) but we're still cast iron out to the sewer & for a few short internal runs.
They'll need fixing eventually, I'm sure.
But then again so will everything else, so... 🤷
Be well!
It's not that doing stupid CEs that I need to do would be more fun, it's just...
Ok, no - doing absolutely asinine CEs would definitely be more fun than this.
(Literally every time I fix one piece, something further down the line breaks. At this point I'll be fixing the main on my street pretty soon.)
Done.
And now to catch up on two days of missed everything.
Or perhaps to make a negroni.
No, it's not done, don't ask.
