Minimalist launcher to reduce your screen time. Daily wallpapers. Zero ads..

@kuketzblog habe ich früher auch benutzt. Ich bin aber schon seit langem auf den Olauncher umgestiegen. Für mich der perfekte Launcher.

@mirek After Nova, I decided to try something completely different 😉 And it has been few months since I switched to Olauncher. But its philosophy is not even close to Nova, and I can't say I would recommend it for everyone 😃 #olauncher https://github.com/tanujnotes/Olauncher

In the immortal words of Eleanor Shellstrop,

"YA BASIC!"

(Which, to be clear, is a great virtue in launchers, if that's what you're going for. ;)

I've flip-flopped back and forth between the stock launcher and things like #KISSLauncher / #OLauncher, but I'm back on stock now, because I got used to having that [spatial arrangement], and because I use the Private Space feature in the stock launcher in Android 15. ;)

Some thoughts on Android launchers, or, The Need For Spatial Regularity In Touch Interfaces

Recently, I switched to #olauncher as a launcher for #lineageos I run on my phone. It was just an experiment with #minimalist environment which, as I expected, was supposed to end quickly. It is two months now! I realized I am obsessed with organizing the icons "the perfect way", which is just not the thing here 😉 All you need to do is: select 8 favorite apps at max, and remember 3 basic gestures (swipe from left and right to start the most used apps, from bottom to get a list of all apps).

Anyone know of a #minimal #Android #launcher similar to #OLauncher or #OLauncherCF that has the ability to group apps into folders?

I have quite a few games now that it'd be nice to have them grouped together somehow...
