I'd like to poin to several #LGBTQIA* from #Russia (some even working on #FLOSS) that fled #Putin's regime which refuses to acknowledge their remounciation and would rather hatecrime them in their embassy for i.e. living while trans, but I'm not gonna namedrop them without their explicit consent.

• Same applies to people fleeing #NorthKorea: Pyongyang doesn't recognize #Reounciations and treats those who dare to re-enter with a new identity as spies and high treasonists. I'm not gonna elaborate further on what that means...

IDK what #rationale is being abused, but by that logic they'd also have to yeet #code from #sanctioned parties (i.e. #Huawei [employees]) from the #Linux kernel!

• Or are @linuxfoundation sponsors exempted from such rules and decisions? What if #Office39 or some #DarknetMarket bought themselves a #Sponsorship??
