Obsession has a pretty simple premise, but it's executed really well. The movie knows what kind of creepy, slightly ridiculous horror story it is, and it leans into that instead of trying to hide it.
The best part is easily the lead actress. A lot of the scares come from her performance alone. You feel bad for her, but you also know something is off, and she creates so much creepiness just through her acting.

A dark comedy about a boy finally getting his crush who suffers trauma from her father and recovering from a drug addiction, realizing he is stuck with her, and his death is the only way out.
For those sensitive to sound you might want to avoid it until dvd. The useless music over compensates for the acting and there’s a lot of screaming.
Lifetime Movie Network has handled this better.
