With conference program yet published for #OTESSA2026 and zero discount for online participation, I've decided to withdraw my workshop. I will hold it myself on June 15, even though a total of two people have expressed interest (I will record video for the third person who said they can't make it).

It's all disappointing, but the CList PLE project means a lot to me, if only as a work of art for art's sake, and a demonstration of what we could have, if we actually wanted it.

My proposal for an #OTESSA2026 workshop at the June 8-9 online conference was accepted a few weeks ago but I still haven't seen a schedule. It wouldn't matter but I'm conscious of the cost - $275 for a retiree like me. Compared to just $50 for non-presenting attendees. I'm wondering what I would even be paying for. And I'm thinking I might just pull the workshop - which, again, isn't even scheduled yet - and present it on my own just after the conference.
