They came back and offered me a $50 registration, so I'm putting my workshop back into the conference.
(I thought about just deleting my previous post, but for the sake of openness I'll just leave it).
With conference program yet published for #OTESSA2026 and zero discount for online participation, I've decided to withdraw my workshop. I will hold it myself on June 15, even though a total of two people have expressed interest (I will record video for the third person who said they can't make it).
It's all disappointing, but the CList PLE project means a lot to me, if only as a work of art for art's sake, and a demonstration of what we could have, if we actually wanted it.
CList currently supports:
- read from feeds, Mastodon, Bluesky, search
- decentralized DID (& following by DID)
- fully decentralized chat, annotations, collections, collaborative authoring
- multiple editor types
- publish to Blogger, WordPress, social networks
- save locally
& much more
It is the decentralized interactive learning workspace we've always wanted & it exists now
I want to demo it June 15 at noon Eastern. Would you attend? (Important, as I want to present to more than 3 people)
