A new day and a new update, heh. This update was actually worth it because besides minor fixes to Valsun and Threshold’s pages, a page for my Mac OS 8/9 character has been published. After being idle for a while I did some updates to my OS-tan universe for once. This adds extra parts to character pages such as skin tones and actually adding descriptions for the hairstyles characters have, though I most likely missed a page or two...

This is Valencia Marisela McGovern-Tiburón as seen in Chapter 7 of I Was a Software Developer by @synergy as part of her Operating Superstars project, which is a take on the concept of personifying computers and operating systems.

Published a minor update to my OS-tan "fanon" wiki with a new section on other minor characters. Unlike the other misc characters page this is one uses a different layout with dropdown boxes, and is for characters who in theory do exist which is a fair few but do not have enough information to give them a distinct page, or are getting reworked...

Published a minor update to my OS-tan wiki which isn't the fan one to address something I noticed.
I picked up on the fact that people tend to translate Vistake, Visbou and Viskei's names into something more English sounding which is what the whole "Vi" thing is in their names, therefore not using the actual Japanese translation if they care about accuracy.
In Japanese it most likely varies but in fanworks and other OS-tan wikis from Japan, it is written with "Bi" and not "Vi", so Vistake would be read as Bisutake, the "su" being from the "s" in "Vis". The "V" sound is often approximated with a "B" sound in Japanese which is why you see ビ (bi) used in their names, so most other English based wikis translate only the "bi" part to "vi". Originally, Japanese had no ヴ character so they used variations of ビ (bi). You can still pronounce it as "Vi", but other Japanese wikis tend to use "Bi" instead.

Decided to attempt this a second time but I decided to create a bridge between the Discord server and Matrix, another platform that is somewhat part of the Fediverse,
A part of why I am making this is because some people may want to chat, but not use the Discord server itself as Discord does some well... not so nice things, so it is easier to make a bridge between Discord itself and Matrix which is open source + not bad as Discord itself. Please note this is the second time I have tried this so I guess this is experiment two.
As of right now there isn't actually any other people using this on Matrix's end as I just set it up, so it will stay as read only for now until I start getting people here (if locking it works...)
