I was going to start working on my DGS dioramas, but somehow ended up working on a Blender extension for adding support for the OKHSL color space. These things just happen, I guess. It sounds almost reasonable.

I've been a big fan of OKHSL ever since I read https://bottosson.github.io/posts/colorpicker/ . It's available in Inkscape, and I implemented it in my own WIP pixel graphics editor, and I can't bear the thought of having to use Blender without it. Well, I could, but I really want to work on it today.

one offshoot on the #rust #tui #daw work:

i implemented #okhsl random colors for the #midi clips that the #sequencer manages.

so now i get some really badass color palettes as a byproduct of just starting the program and just messing around in the interface to test stuff

i cant save projects yet otherwise i would've saved them as named project templates already. still, they make great #screenshots

i love this last one particularly. normally #0 is #000 :D #0f0 is cursor, use for calibration
