It's the time of year when I start my Nutcracker countdown. Philly has a million nutcrackers in all sorts of versions, but the Philadelphia Ballet, doing the Balanchine Choreography, will always hold a special place in my heart.

I've been writing about it for 9 years or so, going behind the scenes to see what makes the whole production tick. And this is where I recapture some of those moments. This one from 7 years ago takes the company down memory lane on the Nutcracker's 50th Anniversary.
