Mixx, an open-source DJ software working well with Numarc Scratch mixer and two Turntables. I can use Vynils and the mixer to control the sound file being played on the laptop, just like proprietary software, no hassle.

Mixxx 2.5.1 was released a few days ago. This version also focuses on improving the control mapping of three Numark consoles models.
Mixxx fixes the VU Meters for the existing Numark Mixtrack Platinum control map.
Mixxx also adds two new control mapping for the Numark NS6II and the Numark Platinum FX.

A while ago I've repaired my old Numark MixTrack Pro DJ controller. It is quite worn down, but by far the largest problem was that in my previous repair attempt, one of the USB-B contacts was severed.
In lack of a service manual, or connection diagrams, had to reverse engineer (i.e. guess) where the contact goes, and reconnect with a "bypass" wire soldered to the power board. And it works!

I wish that Denon DJ, Rane, or Numark would release a cheaper stand alone deck like the Prime 4 or SC Live, but just the mixer section and display without the platters. Then let users plug in their own decks like the LC6000 or Rane Twelve.

It is a Numark TT-100 direct drive turntable.
I bought it in 2005 because my old turntable was broken beyond repair. At that time, as I recall it, there were not a whole lot of options for turntables. So I had to buy 'DJ equipment' in a music store. π€·
