Omelette pommes de terre champignons en écoutant Dolly Parton !
This cozy soup is a Cook Smarts classic, last featured in 2020. Smarts #1: The ham will impart a lot of flavor to the soup, so be sure to get ham with flavors you would like - honey roasted or smoked, etc. If you’d like to top the bowls of finished soup with some extra chopped ham, reserve a small amount before adding it to the soup. Smarts #2: The thickness of the soup will vary depending on how much the peas break down, so you may need to stir in some more stock or some water at the end of cooking. Cooking Methods: This recipe includes instructions for using the slow cooker or stovetop. Select your preferred method.
Chewy gnocchi, tender chunks of zesty sausage, and roasted eggplant make an out-of-this-world pasta bowl. These hearty flavors are balanced by a bright tomato sauce spiked with peppery harissa. Smarts: Different brands of harissa can vary from mild to quite spicy, so taste yours and adjust the amount to suit your preference.
This soup, which we first featured in 2022, comes together fast and is packed with hearty, plant-based ingredients. It's very accommodating, so feel free to add extra fresh or frozen vegetables if you'd like. Smarts: You'll get the most flavor with regular (not light) coconut milk, which adds a rich, creaminess to the soup base. Be sure to season to taste. Depending on the sodium level of your stock, you may need more or less salt than listed.
