🌌 Mid-winter darkness continues, but the weather is "mild" for the Arctic at -28­C. Clear skies mean we might get a spectacular show of the Aurora Borealis tonight! Remember, there’s no sun yet, so keep your spirits high and your coffee hot. Watch for ice fog near the river. Keep those heavy parkas handy, Inuvik! ❄️

Part of me would like to chuckle, "hah, now you know what we live with!", but that's not fair. Or true: 'cause we have training and experience and gear and infrastructure built for it, because of it, and you don't. And that sucks, truly.

Hang in there, and look out for each other.

#NorthOf60 was THE best show! I still get shivers every time I hear the theme song. Really sad that it was all filmed before shows were digitized so it's not easy to watch any of the shows anymore.
