I noticed a significant shift in my #Podcasting habits since changing jobs (and losing roughly 30 hours a week of podcast-listening time) and so I've had to clear out some shows I just don't have the time to listen to anymore (sorry #NobleBlood, we had a good six years).

So. I'm looking for recommendations. #Videogames #Politics #CurrentAffairs and #Hockey.

Podcast listeners of Mastodon, what say you?

@danielholt #NobleBlood is great, but I completely understand the need to triage. Sometimes there’s too many! Will check out #ReasonsToBeCheerful…any others that survived your cleaning out?

Had a #Podcast clear out. I just don't have the time anymore, so I've had to ditch some long standing favourites. Goodbye #NobleBlood and #Nextlander. You've served me well but, well I've got to triage this stuff.

#ReasonsToBeCheerful is back though. A show about ideas, and how they can be used to make a difference in our pretty broken world. A hard recommendation from me.

Had a week of the Succession narrative swirling around in my head...

And my analogy of kingdoms still stands.

If you listen to enough #NobleBlood podcasts you learn that princesses never really have any power.

All the power ends up in the hands of their husband.

So from that point of view, Tom taking over is not surprising, even if it is the conquering Matsson who appoints him regent.

Last week’s #NobleBlood episode was on one of my favorite twists in history characters, Richard III of England: https://open.spotify.com/episode/3FbEt6yYCSzSrhYgkmWYlQ?si=VCFY1Yp5Th-jlnq6k1cV3g
The Resurrection of the Parking Lot King

Listen to this episode from Noble Blood on Spotify. After the Battle of Bosworth Field, Henry Tudor became King Henry VII. But what happened to the king he replaced, King Richard III? Well, we weren't quite sure. Not until 2012, when a group of archeologists galvanized by an amateur named Philippa Langley made a momentous discovery in a Leicester parking lot.  Support Noble Blood: — Bonus episodes, stickers, and scripts on Patreon — Merch! — Order Dana's book, 'Anatomy: A Love Story' and its sequel 'Immortality: A Love Story'See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

I didn't know that Norway still Had a royal family, let alone a princess marrying an American "Shaman" / Charlatan.

(Yes I'm listening to the latest episode of #NobleBlood )

I'm listening to the #NobleBlood podcast episode about Olga of Kievan-Rus and her revenge when her husband is killed. It's extremely gory, and I just want to mutter "Hashtag GirlBoss" each time she has someone killed.

The internet has poisoned my brain
