Swansea: ‘No phone zone’ returns for Easter as kids eat free at family venues
The screen-free initiative will be back at BUNKERS Swansea and Ninja Warrior UK Swansea after proving a hit with families during the February half term.
Both venues are encouraging visitors to put their phones away — or switch them to airplane mode — to focus on “real-time memory making” over the school holidays.
At BUNKERS Swansea, families can take on two 12-hole crazy golf courses, as well as electro-darts, pool and ping pong — all while enjoying uninterrupted time together.
Friends enjoy electro-darts at BUNKERS Swansea during a night outAnd there’s an added bonus for parents’ wallets too.
Children can eat for free with the purchase of a full-priced adult meal, with options including pizza, dirty fries and nachos on the menu.
Meanwhile, over at Ninja Warrior UK Swansea, families can tackle giant inflatables, climbing challenges and the famous Warped Wall.
Special Easter offers mean kids can also eat free there, with a “Ninjas Eat Free” ticket including two one-hour sessions and a sharing pizza.
Organisers say the idea is simple — swap screen time for game time.
Stephen Brown, Chief Operating Officer of Adventure Leisure, said: “School holidays offer families the chance to spend real quality time together, so we would love to encourage our guests to ditch the devices and make some memories this Easter.”
While the “No Phone Zone” is being promoted, organisers stress there are exceptions — including for parents who need to stay connected or those relaxing in café areas.
The initiative comes as more families look for ways to unplug and spend meaningful time together during school breaks.
With a mix of activities, food offers and a push for screen-free fun, both venues are expected to be busy over the Easter holidays.
