Dismal Wizard called Ryobi Tools suppor to ask about the tone the trimmer power head makes when the trigger is squeezed. Steady tone near c above middle c. Not in the manual. Not in the book. Bilingual support was having trouble with basics like the International Phonetic Alphabet.
Tried battery in the new leaf blower. It’s a noisy bastardized but has no whistle.
Tried lawn mower battery in the trimmer. Still whistled.
Trimmed out! No magic smoke.
