Compare and contrast: UI for VERTICAL alignment of text inside table cells in #Microsoft #Word vs. #NisusWriterPro.

Sure, the buttons in NWP might in theory mislead the user into thinking that the text will also become centered HORIZONTALLY. However, have anyone ever been confused? I have not. It seems obvious to me that, in the context of these table tools, the row of buttons is for VERTICAL alignment only and will not affect the text’s horizontal alignment (which, to be clear, it does not).

#NisusWriterPro has this rather annoying quirk where, when the Find & Replace dialog is in the foreground, ⇧⇥ means “insert a tab special character in the field” instead of its usual meaning of “move back up one field or control” in the user interface.
