Today it's more rainy than forecasted, perfect for celebrating #NewKeyboardDay with an #Zilpzalp designed by @apfel, sold and soldered by @0xcb.

Actually I'm glad that Jakob of #KeebSupply did solder all the SMD stuff: I'm more a through-hole solderer, but currently not so keen on soldering myself at all. But plugging in the switches into the #hotswap sockets is as soothering as building something with #LEGO. (Hence it's kinda bad that it's just a 28-keys #MechanicalKeyboard. ๐Ÿคช)

#NewKeyboardDay! Actually two new Tex #Shura #MechanicalKeyboards as I couldn't decide on color and cursor block. (There are a few more differences, do you find them? Solution in the image description.)

The black one (Cherry MX Silent Red linear switches) is planned to become the successor of my Tex Yoda II at work, the red one (Akko Lavender Purple Pro v3 tactile switches) will, ehm, go into my #MechanicalKeyboard collection, to meetups and probably will also be occasionally used. ๐Ÿ˜‡

J'ai craquรฉ tellement.

New #MechanicalKeyboard day! It's a #Kiser Monorail 45% #keyboard which I recently bought from @opendev on #40sDay in the Fediverse. I've put #HolyBoba switches in the #Kailh #hotswap sockets and put MiTo's GMK Laser keycap set plus some novelties on.

And yes, the #KiserMonorail is #V4N4G0N compatible, so it's my fifth keyboard with #TheVanKeyboards #Minivan-style layout.

It runs #QMK on an #RP2040 and uses easy peasy #Vial for configuration!
