And on the subject of #SleighRide, I do feel like I'm getting the timing down, and listening to a recording of me playing the thing, it does sound decently whip-cracky. I think I'm basically ready for Sunday, though I'll probably run it a time or two tomorrow just to keep it fresh.

Slapstick in my (temporary) possession, and it's simpler than I thought it would be. I need to do a little refinement to get that whip sound just right, but I think I have a good idea how to do that. I need to put it with the actual song too and get the hang of the reaction time as it applies to the song. This should keep me busy for a few days. LOL Tosha, the #GermanShepherd mix, is not impressed, so we're gonna need to get her used to the sound of the slapstick.
