Red miso paste in mashed potatoes with butter
Todays continuing #NerdFood experiments with instant mashed potatoes, air-fryer chicken.
olive oil, salt, old bay, egg and a little instant potatoes to get it to the consistency of paste
coat the chicken, then roll it in instant potatoes
when you're done, mix the leftover potato breading in with the egg coat and dollop it on top of each piece
about 7mins/side until both sides brown

Why cooking pasta correctly is hard.
I'm a barbarian, I use a microwave.
My parents are probably rolling in their graves over my recent experiments with making potato dumplings in a microwave with instant mashed potatoes. The correct way, of course, is boiling and riceing them then chilling the mixture in the fridge before boiling (in a pot)
Rainy day baked stuffed pepper with Italian sausage
Some experiments last night making sodium citrate emulsifier with baking soda and lemon juice.
adding it to sharp cheddar makes an interesting lemon flavored cheese sauce
Red Vines made by American Licorice company
which is discontinuing most of their licorice products.
Apparently this candy has fallen out of favor with US consumers. Red Vines was all I could find easily and even that is disappearing from stores, or that Hersheys stuff that is equally disgusting.
Food experiment gone horribly wrong.
Don't try this at home.
Macaroni and cheese packet mixed with olive oil.
I thought maybe this might be useful as a cheese seasoning, but the only way this stuff is even edible is after it is mixed with a big bowl of noodles.
DO NOT try to taste this straight. I don't think I want to know what is in it that makes it taste like that.
Something to do with a pkg of noodles
boil 'em, drain 'em
Heat up a couple of chicken patties on a plate
and dump the noodles on them.
Mix up some thick gravy with some of the sauce packet, and corn starch dissolved in warm water
Add some real gravy then heat to thicken. The exact mix takes some experimenting. Dump the gravy on top, sprinkle with ground black pepper.
