Grateful for the kind of friendships that are worth traveling for. We recently went to Florida to celebrate a friend’s wedding and soak up some much-needed beach time after a long winter. Travel always feels like a mortal act to me, but despite my flying anxiety, immersing myself in the ocean was a kind of renewal. We spent plenty of time by the water, and coming back to Pittsburgh with a sunburn feels like a badge of honor. Most of all, I’m glad to feel creatively inspired again.
