Just had my first taste of my first ever batch of hop water. Not fully carbonated yet, but close. I topped it off with some carbonated water from my other tap. I make a clone of Gerolsteiner, which has a lot of magnesium.
I think I got the bitterness just right. And two cups of combined grapefruit and lemon juice is good tartness. May go for three cups next time. Just because. Aroma of the Nectaron hops is just fantastic.
Very refreshing drink. I’m hooked!
Behold the Galaxy and Nectaron Hazy. I’ve only brewed one hazy before and it was an all grain kit. This is one I assembled though the recipe is from League of Brewers here in NZ. 1kg of rolled oats makes for a really nice mouth feel.
Kegging today to serve Friday at the office.

This is a damn easy brew - single infusion mash for 90 minutes at 67°C. Toto, we aren’t in German/Czech land anymore.
American ale malt, rolled oats, wheat malt, Warminster Caragold. Nectaron and Galaxy hops.
