I think I am going to make a French Apple Tart for new year. It's a recipe I used to love - slices of apple laid overlapping on a pastry shell (can't recall if the pastry is pre-cooked) and an egg mixture is poured over it. I haven't cooked it for 25 years or so as I haven't been eating eggs until recently.

It still breaks ever rule in my naturopath's rule book - gluten, fruit, sugar, ...... , but - New Year.

I've not eaten bread for 18 months or so due to my #naturopathPrescribedDiet . I bought some last week as I had a "delicate stomach" and dry bread is one of the things that you can eat during those times.

And wow, I was shocked at how ๐Ÿ’ฉ that supermarket bread stuff is. Bread never used to taste this bad. It has really gone down hill in the past 5 years or so.

In 2018 I made and photographed this wonderful spread. I think bread tasted better in those days. Or is it because I have not eaten bread in that time and I'm not used to the taste.

Anything that will sit on the counter for several days without deteriorating can't be or taste good/be healthy imo.

Potato, Garlic and Rosemary Pizza - not so pretty but one of our favourites before going on a GF #NaturopathPrescribedDiet I'd make a slab of it, rather than a round shape.
