I think I am going to make a French Apple Tart for new year. It's a recipe I used to love - slices of apple laid overlapping on a pastry shell (can't recall if the pastry is pre-cooked) and an egg mixture is poured over it. I haven't cooked it for 25 years or so as I haven't been eating eggs until recently.
It still breaks ever rule in my naturopath's rule book - gluten, fruit, sugar, ...... , but - New Year.
