I think one of the issues with #NATLA is it kinda feels like not everyone on board actually studied the source material. No, it does not need to be 1:1 & SOME of the episodes have very authentic feeling scenes! The costumes do look really good (just need to be lived in) but it also feels like they keep cutting the actual bending scenes short, maybe because of VFX or just acting issues? I also do like a lot of the sets, but for whatever reason it's all very.... gray.
Hopefully S2 will be better!
