Question for native English speakers. When do you use unfortunate and when do you use unfortunately?

@federicomena
Can some #nativespeaker please explain us who are "32-bit gigachad" and "64-bit terachad"? 😅😅😅😅

Schlaue #Nativespeaker hier?

Ich steh' auf dem Schlauch.

When you are #nativeSpeaker in different languages, you become different persons in different languages.

I'm always so nervous to listen to #music in languages I don't know in #public cause what if the lyrics are #cringe and a #nativeSpeaker hears?

Is it
a) "No #backup, no #sympathy"
or
b) "No backup, no #pity"?

a) returns about twice as many search results. I'm not a #NativeSpeaker, so I'd like to hear from those who are.

There has been a lot of discussion of the term #NativeSpeaker in linguistics of late. But what about the terms #fluent or #proficient (or fluent vs. proficient)? @savithry and coauthors write about this a little w.r.t. language revitalization (citing Davis 2018), which is what I've been thinking about too. If anyone wants to have a mini-discussion of this issue, I'd love to hear it!
