Today's visitor to the garden - a Pied Currawong, I think.

The bird is plump and fluffy, with mostly dark plumage and striking yellow eyes with a white tip on its long tail feathers. It is a large, crow-sized bird found throughout eastern Australia, often in urban areas and woodlands.

So near and yet so far..... An 'almost' great photo - if only the window of my car was clean.

Bèbè #magpie thought this might be a quick and easy meal that delivered itself.
But nope... while it can grab things with it's beak, this one still depends on Mum for food.
Mum still a bit more apprehensive about me than dad is.
