i'm in #OkinawaCityMuseum for a conf about butterfly-shaped bone artefacts, of the #kaizuka period by Harumi Shimabukuro.
probably very similar to the conf she gave at #NagoMuseum a few months ago, but okinawa city museum is small and nevertheless tries to organize many expo and events so i came as support, so they can tell the city office the conference was a success with many visitors from all over the island 😁hashtag for the live toot is #ryukyult mute it if you don't like bone butterflies
in #NagoMuseum for a lecture about 「the history of nago and okinawa seen through animal bones」by Takeji Toizumi of Meiji University. they wrote the reading next to the name of the lecturer, i love them.
nago is quite far so not many of the people i usually meet at conferences, but, on the other hand, many people that i rarely meet in southern and central okinawa. nice to see everyone is doing all right â™Ș
the hashtag will be #Nago mute it if you hate zooarchaeology 😉
