@KevinFreitas Its too bad that #NYCParks doesn't believe in permeable pavement. They are still using asphalt where they could use permeable grid pavers.

At least #NYCDEP understands permeable pavement. Maybe #NYCDOT can get on board.

Last I heard NYC Parks didn't believe in porous pavement.
#DEP has been using it for years.

Let it mellow #NYC ! With all this rain, the #sewage from our homes is combining with rainwater in the pipes underground, overwhelming treatment plants and leading to #CombinedSewageOverflow (aka #poop getting dumped into the harbor).
By waiting to use your sink, shower, dishwasher or other appliances, you can help prevent the system from being overloaded!
