Regional motorcycle fatality marks continuing road toll concern in NSW

A 67-year-old motorcyclist has died in a crash near Gundagai. The fatality reflects a 34 per cent spike in NSW motorcycle deaths in 2024.

The Daily Perspective

NSW police should be forced to retract statement that,

"Often the speed factor is normally associated with high speed, but this might actually be the opposite [scenario]," by Assistant Commissioner McFadden said.

…when investigation hasn’t event commenced.

Slow speed can only cause obstruction of traffic.
Accidents are caused by speed, inattentiveness, mechanical failure, etc…

The Americanism that the speed limit is the minimum speed only makes roads more dangerous.
