Pride flag stolen, flagpole cut down at Norwich school, OPP seek suspects
Oxford County OPP are asking for the public's help after a Pride flag was stolen and a metal flagpole was cut down at Emily Stowe Public School in Norwich Township. The incident comes a week after a Pride flag was set on fire at the school.

I feel that this year’s #Refugee Week (15th to 21st June 2026) is more vital than ever particularly in my city of #Norwich.

We have experienced a lot of tensions and high profile court cases in the past year. But those that seek to exploit this and reject our status as a City of Sanctuary cannot be allowed to dominate media coverage on this issue.
