under #SCE #NEM3 aka the #SolarBillingPlan the wholesale export price of electricity jumps 21x to $2.52/kWh and more between 6-8pm only in September which creates this bizarre #salmonrun scenario where everybody with a battery is incentivized to dump all their stored solar for 2 hours a night for 30 nights and the other 11 months basically don’t matter

@toriver @breadandcircuses well @pge4me, SCE, and @sdge sure just managed to screw any new investor-owned solar in California as of April, at approximately 1/3 of previous buy-back, meaning it could take much longer to pay off a new system, but slickly couched as “harming” non-participating ratepayers.
