BÁIRE/ COMMON GROUND” at A4 Sounds gallery, just off Dorset Street. I got to visit the students in their Annex studios opposite the Guinness brewery last week. In the late 90s /early 2000s at #NCAD the library were disposing of old books. I grabbed a copy of a #Letraset catalogue, which still regularly gets scanned for historical #type It previously belonged to a Niamh Lawlor, who I reckon was there a few years before me. If anyone knows Nimah, tell her thanks! I think she's with Púca Puppets

Fascinating talk in NCAD this afternoon – Brian Hand on the complex art, life and career of Noel Sheridan, late Director of NCAD, among many other things (see image, from IMMA, at https://imma.ie/artists/noel-sheridan/; that page is worth a look to see the many works by Noel that are now part of the IMMA collection). Noel was controversial, even contradictory, but much of his output had great force and almost too much intelligence behind it.
