Infortunio al piede destro con frattura del quinto metatarso: sarà operato a Madrid il campione della Ducati Marc Marquez caduto durante la Sprint del Gp francese di MotoGp. Lo spagnolo salterà quindi la gara di domenica e anche il prossimo Gp di Catalunya. A rischio anche quello del Mugello. “Dopo un controllo medico e una radiografia Marc Marquez è stato dichiarato non idoneo – ha fatto sapere in una nota la scuderia di Borgo Panigale – Stasera volerà a Madrid per sottoporsi a un intervento chirurgico“.
La rovinosa caduta è avvenuta nell’ultimo giro della sprint race del Gp di Francia: “Per fortuna mi sono rotto solo il quinto metatarso”, ha detto a Sky Sport Marc Marquez. Il campione ha poi aggiunto che già da tempo aveva deciso di operarsi alla spalla destra, un intervento che aveva intenzione di fare appena dopo di Gp di Catalunya. “Dopo Jerez ho capito perfettamente c’era qualcosa che non andava – ha spiegato Marquez – i dottori guardando bene hanno visto che dopo la caduta in Indonesia di ottobre era tutto apposto, ma la vite rotta che ho nella spalla è in una direzione un po’ diversa, di un millimetro, e tocca il nervo radiale“.
E dunque, secondo Marquez, è proprio questa condizione al nervo a causargli una guida incostante e strane cadute: “Quando tocca il nervo non posso guidare bene. Ci vuole calma e togliere questa vite, un’operazione lunga ma non rischiosa. Ora proviamo a risistemare tutto”. Consapevole di dover saltare il weekend della Catalunya, il campione spera per il Mugello: “L’operazione alla spalla non richiede un recupero lungo, ma devono aprire e togliere questa vite. Vediamo come va”.

And therefore, according to Marquez, it is precisely this condition on the nerve that is causing him inconsistent driving and strange falls: “When it touches the nerve, I can’t drive well. You need calm and to remove this bone, a long but non-risky operation. Now we’ll try to fix everything.” Aware that he will have to miss the Catalunya weekend, the champion hopes for Mugello: “The shoulder operation doesn’t require a long recovery, but they need to open it up and remove this bone. We’ll see how it goes.”
