IntraRegionale 2026 / Insects in Art

Starting April 24, the 3rd IntraRegionale will take place in the Hannover region. As in 2015 and 2021, ten art institutions have joined forces to form a network and collaboratively create a major project.

“For the 3rd IntraRegionale 2026,’ the participating institutions have selected artists who engage with the theme ‘Art and Insects.’ The presentations will make use of both indoor spaces and outdoor areas for site-specific installations. Artists from Germany, France, Japan, and Switzerland will present current works and surprising perspectives on these fascinating creatures, or their perspectives on us humans. The exhibition program has been curated by nine Kunstvereine from the Hannover region and the Städtische Galerie Lehrte, which, following 2016 and 2021, once again invite visitors to exhibition spaces and outdoor art locations throughout the Hannover region.”

I have been invited by “Kunstraum Benther Berg” and will present an installation specially conceived for the occasion. The opening of my project will take place on May 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
