Coyotes howling at each other in my yard never gets old.

But uhhh, we also avoid the backyard with the dog on a leash when they stay near.

The dog did not appreciate the howly-howly. "Uhhh, Ma? You hearin' 'dis?"

Oh dang, something hit our downspout though. Something is running away 🐇🐈‍⬛ from someone doing some hunting 🐺.

The Northern Flicker. This colourful member of the woodpecker family recently visited my pond. They are tree nesters and feed on the ground. Their favorite meal is ants.
