#Severance and #MurderbotTV deal with a LOT of the same themes, but I know from #TheMurderbotDiaries books that things do get better - that they can get better.

I do not see how Severance has a happy ending. 😭

#MurderbotTV Episode 10: So, I'm assuming that Murderbot's new governor module got hacked/uninstalled, but the last episode didn't actually establish that explicitly. (Although I guess it's implied?) I wish it had.

#MurderbotTV Episode 9: The Dr. Mensah in *this* episode is how I envisioned her in the first book!

Also, I'm digging Mensah/Gurathin for the tv show canon.

#MurderbotTV episode 8: I do have to say, I'm absolutely loving getting to see shows like Sanctuary Moon play out in the adaptation. The hairstyles are ~amazing~.
#MurderbotTV This is obviously subjective, but my impression of Dr. Mensah from the books was 'made of stern stuff' (because, you know, planetary leader). TV Mensah, otoh, is more 'do it scared'.
#MurderbotTV episode 7: Actually, the Sweet-Bitter game was exactly the sort of thing I wanted!
#MurderbotTV With the qualifier that I'm not done with the first season yet: something I wish the show did better with the Pin-Lee/Ratthi/Arada polycule is use it to flesh out the Preservation world-building and show how to differs from ours.
#MurderbotTV episode 6: LOL at Leebeebee taking *Gurathin* as a hostage.

#MurderbotTV episode 5: I do not trust Leebeebee. Look, I've watched enough Leverage to recognize Hardison's social discomfort style of grifting!

She'll have full run of their base in no time because she's so off putting that no one's going to want to be around her or be rude. So they'll avoid her.
