Our #quic #multipath implementation is sooo close now. we're debugging some slow draining of connections and that's the last thing keeping us from merging to main. At this point it probably means we won't be having a release of it before the end of the year, which is a bit disappointing. But let's see.
In other news, I'll be speaking at #fosdem about #iroh #p2p! And about #quic #multipath!

MPTCP

Multipath TCP (MPTCP) for Linux, an extension to TCP that enhances connection redundancy and performance by utilizing multiple underlying TCP sessions simultaneously. This site provides installation guides, debugging tools, FAQs, and a list of apps supporting MPTCP, aimed at facilitating the adoption and implementation of MPTCP for Linux users and developers.

Multipath TCP for Linux

Multipathing: it makes fixing cabling issues so much easier. Swapped out the 2x2m fiber patches to the NAS with 2x5m ones because the old ones were just a smidge strained. Had absolutely no issues swapping them out one by one and no downtime.

SFBC is a special case of space time block coding (#STBC) in #mimo, where we get a stream of transmitter samples that are supposed to go out the door and on the air, and we use some tricks to get better reliability in #multipath environments.

TFW after spending literally months trying different things to get your OTA TV reception perfected, your neighbor begins installing a metal-roofed structure over their back patio.

(Luckily it does not appear to be causing any trouble so far.)
