しつこいけど、世界中の全ての人間が、サステイナブルかつ平等に自分に割り当て可能な地球1個分のリソース内で生活しない限り、温暖化も環境破壊も止まらないのはただの足し算だし、企業や政府レベルの努力だけでどうにかなるタイミングはとっくに過ぎてるでしょ。

そもそも企業の商品やサービスを消費してるのは個人であって、「個人レベルの努力でどうにかなる時期は過ぎてる」とか因果関係が逆だし、人々に何もしないための言い訳を与えてるだけ。市場を独占されてて不可抗力なものももちろんあるけど、個人レベルでできることや、しないといけないことは山ほどある。

もちろん企業や政府を変える必要もあるけど、同時に個人レベルでできることを全員が全力でやらないともうどうにもならない。

明日からいきなり世界中の事業用電気が再エネ100%になったって、全ての社用車が電気自動車になったって全然足りない。

何度か投稿してるけど、この国は、ゴールデンウィーク頃には地球一個分のリソースを使い果たしているわけで、それ以降、今この瞬間も、他の地域の人々や将来世代からいろんなものを奪いながら生きてる。

企業努力や政治の力だけでカーボン排出量をネットゼロにできるわけないし、そもそも食糧自給率38%、エネルギー自給率12％の国がサステイナブルなわけない。今の生活水準のまま自国のリソースで支えられる人口はせいぜい2〜3千万人とかそんなもんでしょ。

政府も25年後にカーボンニュートラルとか呑気なこと言ってるけど、市民の意識と消費行動を早急かつドラスティックに変えていかない限り、その遅すぎる目標達成すら無理だと思う。

なのに、影響力ある立場の人間が、「個人レベルでは何をしても無駄」みたいなことを言って極右ネオリベ勢力に加担するようなことを言っちゃうの、ほんとどうかと思う。
