I approve, somewhat, of the Single Member Motion to Vacate the #Chair, but I think the #rules need to be changed.
Once the #MotionToVacate is adopted, the #House should be #locked in #seclusion in their Chamber and fed only bread and water until a new #Speaker is elected.
Like how the "bishop of Rome" is elected, except maybe visitors in the gallery can throw rotten fruit for them to eat, too.
