#RPGaDAY2023 Day 13: Memorable character demise. An #ADnD adventure early in my DMing. An abandoned, decaying bedroom. The fighter disturbs some Yellow Mold, releasing its spores, and everyone rolls save vs poison. And the thief fails and dies. AD&D was brutal.

I wouldn't run an encounter like that again, and welcome the trend away from save-or-die. But those who enjoy that style, feel free, just not my taste :-)

(And we found a way to bring the thief back - turns out he was only #MostlyDead.)
