2018 年 7 月 22 日，#旺角 行人專用區尾二的一個周日。

旺角西洋菜南街，多年來一直人潮如唧，政府於 2000 年把街道設定為部份時間的行人專用區。多年來，行人專用區雖出現過如投擲鏹水彈的治安問題，但亦提供了不少空間，予表演和創作者於街頭展示自己，累積經驗和口碑，此空間同時成為了不少政黨和壓力團體舉辦街站的地方，甚至化身為抗爭場地。

但後來，部份表演人士有組織地佔據大量街頭空間，且表演質素參差不齊，反為社區造成更多的滋擾。經歷數次縮短開放時間後，政府最終於 2018 年 8 月「殺街」，終止行人專用區的安排。
