Travelling to Lithuania by train will be easier from December 2025 thanks to the introduction of two new international train pairs. As with the existing connection from/to Kraków, a change of train sets is needed in #Mockava 🇱🇹 due to the different gauges.

One new connection will be provided between #Szczecin/ #ZielonaGóra 🇵🇱 and #Vilnius 🇱🇹 via #Warszawa, the other one only from/to #Suwałki 🇵🇱.

Od grudnia będzie można podróżować z Wilna do Warszawy częściej niż dotychczas, bo dwa razy dziennie. Jest to jeden z planów rozwoju oferty połączeń międzynarodowych PKP Intercity, która ma na celu zwiększanie liczby pociągów na sieci kolejowej w Polsce.

Arrived at #Mockava and changed the train, now around 6 more hours through Poland (and the last ~15 km of Lithuania)!

This little train from Vilnius to Warsaw is here! In about 2.5 hours I need to change to a different connecting train at #Mockava, and in about 9 hours I'll be arriving in Warsaw!
